We still have some work to do in order to match some other games number of mods
Skyrim with 36k mods.

An interesting outfit for nexus skyrim mod manager. Plugins and mods as tabs:
plugins:

Also the description allowed space reads images, gifs and allows linking.

In this context plugins and mods are same thing (almost).
Mods tab allow install/activate/deactivate mods, but not allow priority changes.
Plugins tab allow to change priorities for these mods (one mod can have multiple parts).

EMM have these views combined: you can enable/disable mods and change priorities on one single page.
As for plugins themselves, they don't have priorities like mods.
Description currently can hold only simple text, but this can be changed to RichEdit or something more complicated... But... Who will provide a new description for every mod?

For english part most of mods have a text file now. If one day we could add an image in the right upper part, I can do that, from advertising database (I did for each).
Anyway, was just showing nexus manager, as I am playing it right now and like it; may give some ideas. I especially like that the plugins are easy accessible and that we can link to mods addresses.

maps4heroes.com was around for 7 years now, and is hosting all maps for Heroes 3-6, + wog 3.58 and some patches also.
The guy is russian and very enthusiast, no adds, no pop ups, always answering to requests, never drunk, never gay.

I feel that, if asked nicely, he could open a stable wog section with database + all the advanced features. In last 6 years, never saw his site going down, even for a day.

I don't know how to create such IE file for images preview.
Each mod should have its own net page then modsman info links to it? What about this (ignore if dumb suggestion):

a tab: switch to text/pdf so it reads pdf file with images and can switch to readme.txt if player does not have acrobat.
